40.007 Mompha bradleyi (Dusky Hourglass Mompha)
ws: 9-11mm; Jul-May; great willowherb (Epilobium hirsutum); NS-B locally common in damp meadows and marshes in Herefordshire and Worcestershire
ID: Requires genital determination to distinguish from M.divisella, which is externally very similar. In all other species of Mompha with a white area at the forewing base ("continuous with" a white or whitish thorax), the white area does not continue to a second dorsal expansion at ⅖.
Male genitalia: sacculus with an abrupt pre-apical narrowing and does not extends as far as costa
Female genitalia: origin of ductus seminilis smooth and oval; sclerotisation of dorsal surface of A8 deficient.
