15.012 Calpotilia semifascia f.hauderi
ws: 10-11mm; Jul-???; field maple (Acer campestre); local in Isle of Wight (MBGBI2)
Although originally placed in genus Calybites, this species is extremely closely related to Caloptilia semifascia, having the same foodplant and indistinguishable larvae and genitalia. The RES checklist records it as the same species, form hauderi being the first generation of bivoltine populations. Wikipedia documents Calybites hauderi as a rare and local European species, known from Romania and the Pyrenees.
§1 was obtained at Ham Fen in Kent and may be only the third record for Kent.

ID from Key: Labial palp with S2 not tufted; terminal cilia not paler than ground colour; clear yellow subquadrate costal blotch not extended along costa towards apex.
