ID: Blackish with 4 black forewing spots: basal, discal plical and postmedian, the latter 3 partially edged with white scales and the discal and plical ~level with each other; a white patch on the costa at ~¾ and a smaller white patch on the dorsum at ⅔ which is variably expressed. Labial palps black with a whitish tip to S3. Distinguished from other dark gelechiids with white costal spots by the horizontal posture of the wings parallel with the substrate.
