49.085 Acleris kochiella (Elm Tortix)
ws: 15-18mm (BTM), fw: 7-9mm (Sterling & Parsons); bivoltine Jun-Aug, Sep and overwinters; elm (Ulmus); local in England
ID: Ground colour of summer generation creamy-white, that of autumn generation grey. Costa shallowly concave; 3 black blotches - 2 on costa and one between them subcostally; several small blackish scale-tufts. Similar to form tripunctana of A.logiana, which is generally less strongly marked and averages larger (fw: 8-10mm). Genital determination may be required.
Male genitalia: 5-6 slender cornuti. In A.logiana there are 3 stronger cornuti
