ws: 10-13mm; May-Aug; various Asteraceae including mayweeds (Matricaria/Tripleurospermum spp), goldenrod (Solidago), stinking chamomile (Anthemis cotula); fairly common on waste ground in S.England
ID: C.heydeniana lacks the pink forewing flush often shown by C.implicitana; it has a broader median fascia and has barred cilia. Falseuncaria degreyana usually has a more prominent pink flush but can also be distinguished by its lack of a well-defined sub-basal line in the terminal cilia.
