fw: 16-18mm (Waring & Townsend); Sep-Oct; broadleaved trees; common in S.England and Wales, local in N.England and S.Scotland
ID: Forewing reddish brown with darker subbasal and subterminal fascia and a narrow angulate median fascia; kidney and oval marks broad, a shade paler than the ground colour with the dorsal half of the kidney mark dark brown and coinciding with the angle of the median fascia.
