Subfamily: Olethreutinae
Tribe: Endotheniini (1G 8S)
Represented in Britain by the single genus Endothenia. Considered by Pierce and Metcalfe with the 'Olethreutidii' within the genus Argyroploce. The rationale for placing this genus in a separate tribe is probably the development of the uncus with a long narrow pedunculate stalk and clubbed apex in the male; and the signum as a "squamous depression in the form of a pocket or sac" (Pierce and Metcalfe, describing Argyroploce)
