Generic features: Head with appressed scales; antenna 4/5 fw length, shortly setose-ciliate in male, scape without pecten; labial palp S3 much shorter than S2; Fw V7&8 stalked, Hw V3&4 connate or shortly stalked; ♂ apex of sacculus spatulate, anellus short, rounded; ♀ S8 sternite narrow.
ID: forewing orange with 3 black-edged white stria - one complete, oblique at the wing base; two perpendicular to dorsum at ¼ and ½ which do not reach the costa; variably expressed fuscous postmedian and subterminal fasciae, these meeting at the tornus; labial palps predominantly orange.
