08.003 Incurvaria oehlmanniella (Purple-tinged Cutter)
ws: 12-15mm; Jun-Jul; lfp: Bilberry (Vaccinium myrtillus) leaf-mine Jul-Aug; local in woodland in South and on hills in Wales and Scotland.
ID: Similar to I.masculella but distinguished in the male by not having a pectinate antenna and in both sexes by the small pale costal spot which is distal to or opposite the pale tornal spot. I.masculella usually lacks any costal pale spot, but when one is present it is proximal to the tornal spot.
