fw: 13-14; Jun-Jul (Aug-Sep) in breeding colonies, Jul-Oct as a migrant; common restharrow (Ononis repens); RDB in coastal sand dunes in Kent at Folkestone Warren & Sandwich to Deal and presumed migrant.
ID: Ochreous ground colour of both wings; variably suffused and speckled with red, more heavily in the male; the red marking concentrated in a diffuse postmedian band and less obviously and more variably in antemedian and subterminal bands; no forewing or hindwing central spots.
