fw 8-10mm; Jun-Jul; wild thyme (Thymus polytrichus); NS-B rocky coastal cliffs of W.England, Wales and Scotland
ID: Grey forewing ground colour with a bold black elongate central spot and fairly distinct dark costal spots. E.ultimaria (Channel Islands Pug) also has a prominent elongate forewing spot but is browner with less well-marked cross-lines and a rounder forewing apex.
