49.280 Gypsonoma oppressana (Mottled Grey Tortrix)
ws: 13-15mm; Jun-Jul; black/white poplar (Populus nigra/alba); NS-B in England & Wales
ID: Quite distinct from other Gypsonoma species in appearance. Characterised by farinose (floured) appearance of forewing due to white-tipped scales and by the termen which is evenly arced without any protrusion of the apex, sinuate in other Gypsonoma species.
