ws: 10-13mm (BTM), fw: 4.5-6.5mm (Sterling & Parsons); Jun-Jul; silver/giant fir (Abies alba.grandis); NS-B in coniferous woodland throughout GB
ID: Head and labial palps pale. Forewing dark brown suffused orange-brown; two white bands, median and subterminal, the latter often incomplete, both divided by a line of dark brown scales and both angled pointing towards the termen.
