63.028 Ostrinia nubilalis (European Corn-borer)
ws: 29-37mm; Jun-Jul; mugwort (Artemisia vulgaris); Local in S.England having originally arrived as a migrant and first established around Thames Estuary
ID: Sexually dimorphic. Males not likely to be confused but females are much paler and resemble Sitochroa verticalis. Best distinguished by the much less well-marked underside of both forewing and hindwing in O.nubilalis.
