ws: 22-25mm (Goater), fw: 10-12mm (Sterling & Parsons); Jul-Aug; prickly saltwort (Salsola kali); NS-A - sandy coasts from Cornwall to Lincolnshire
ID: Porrect labial palps distinguish this from species that may be otherwise somewhat similar. Forewing ground colour is pale but is variable in tone from sandy through pink to grey, usually with a paler costal stripe; antemedian line whitish slightly curved, partly bordered ochreous proximally and with indistinct dark dots on the veins at is distal border; postmedian line whitish, slightly curved, partly edged fuscous proximally and ochreous distally; discal dots transverse at ~6/10
