73.048 Panemeria tenebrata (Small Yellow Underwing)
fw: 8-10mm; May-Jun, diurnal; common/field mouse-ear (Cerastium fontanum/ arvense); local in flower-rich grassland in England, Wales and SE.Scotland.
ID: Forewing dark brown, irrorate whitish-grey in fasciate bands (basal, subbasal, median and terminal); hindwing black with a broad yellow median fascia. Superficially resembles some Pyrausta species (Family: Crambidae).
