ID: Male hindwing blackish with a narrow pale subcostal band and a band of black androconial scales along the proximal ⅖ of the costal margin - this pattern is also seen in P.obscurana and P.albuginana. P.obscurana has a more obscurely marked forewing.
Male genitalia: 8-10 saccular setae
Female genitalia:
