ws: 14-18mm (MBGBI3), fw: 7-9mm (Sterling & Parsons); Aug (MBGBI3), Jul-Oct (Sterling & Parsons); oak (Quercus spp); local in oak woodland in S.England and S.Wales
ID: Termen not produced or falcate; no forewing streaks; head, thorax and forewing mainly pale ochreous; traces of 2 oblique fasciae extending ~halfway across forewing from dorsum. Y.sylvella is similar but the forewing fasciae reach the costa.
