Electrophaes corylata (Broken-barred Carpet) §1 male
ID: Characterised by a break in, or narrowing of, the median fascia near its dorsal end; bold white edging of subbasal and median fasciae; and buff colour in bands either side of median fascia. Where the break in the median fascia is complete the white edging traverses the breach. An infrequent form albocrenata, found in Scotland, lacks the median fascia entirely.
