Subfamily: Olethreutinae
Tribe: Eucosmini (20G[1EX] 91S[2EX])
The genera included here are those of Pierce and Metcalfe's 'Epiblemidii' and 'Ephippiphoridii' characterised by the pair of thorn-like signa in the bursa copulatrix. The reason for considering the genera included in 'Ephippiphoridii' (Rhopobota, Spilonota, Gypsonoma, Gibberifera, Rhyacionia, Clavigesta) as distinct from 'Epibelmidii' is not clear. P&M consider the signa of 'Epiblemidii' to be 'pilleate' which they define in the glossary as "in the form of a Greek cap"; and those of 'Ephippiphoridii' to be 2 horns. Further confusion arises from the placement in 'Ephippiphoridii' of Eucosmomorpha now considered in Tribe: Enarmoniini and all the genera now placed in Tribe: Grapholitini except Dichrorampha.
