Synonym: Evetria taedella (Pierce & Metcalfe)
Synonym: Evetria taedella (Pierce & Metcalfe)
ID: SImilar to E.nemorivaga which is confined to the Scottish Highlands. E.nemorivaga has a more grey-brown forewing and hindwing colour. The two can be reliably separated by labial palp colour - creamy white in E.tedella, grey in E.nemorivaga. Also the basal and subbasal fasciae are distinct in E.tedella but combined as basal patch in E.nemorivaga.
