ID: Polymorphic but generally recognised from the grey color and broad forewings.
Form: sparsana - obscure markings with ferruginous striae which vary in strength
Form: ???? (very rare) - ground colour whitish-grey, no ferruginous striae, veins marked fuscous
Form: favillaceana - ground colour light grey, costal blotch well-defined red-brown
Form: haworthana - ground colour whitish-grey, costal blotch well-defined greyish-fuscous
