ws: 10-12mm; Jul-Sep; pines (Pinus spp); local in pine woods in England Wales & S.Scotland
ID: Differs from C.sylvestrana in the ferruginous colour in the distal half of the forewing; and from Pseudococcyx posticana in having grey labial palps head and thorax (light tawny-brown in P.posticana).
