ID: Ground colour reddish-brown to chocolate brown; diffuse ground colour antemedian and postmedian lines bordered whitish proximally and distally; usually a discrete ground colour tornal patch. Similar to C.cespitana which is usually smaller (fw 5.5-7.5mm); and to C.lacunana which usually shows a linear incursion of whitish through the median facia.
Male genitalia: Ventral margin of sacculus sinuate and spined.
