72.036 Nudaria mundana (Muslin Footman)
fw: 10-12mm; Jun-Aug; lichens; locally common throughout GB except NW.Scotland, most frequent on calcareous soils in the west.
ID: Forewing whitish, transparent, with two somewhat angular grey cross-lines; hindwing unmarked. Thumatha senex (Round-winged Muslin) has a similar shape and size and its forewings are translucent; it has dotted rather than complete forewing cross-lines and a small dark central crescent mark on the hindwing.
