12.040 Monopis imella (Coastal Detritus Moth)
ws: 11-14mm (MBGBI2), fw: 5-7mm (Sterling & Parsons); Jun-Sep; NS-B local in scattered areas throughout UK, most common near the sea.
ID: Head whitish to ochreous-yellow; forewing dark fuscous with scattered pale ochreous scales mostly in apical region, a small obscure central hyaline spot, a narrow yellowish line along costa and ochreous cilia at tornus.
