ws: 27-33mm; Jun-Jul; thistles (Cirsium/Carduus/Onopordon spp); common on rough ground, especially chalk downs, in S.England
ID: Once recognised as a Phycitine this is unmistakeable. The similar looking Yponomeuta ermines are much smaller.
