Forewing ground colour yellowish brown with a reticulate pattern of variable intensity; markings mid brown - basal patch with a sharply demarcated, fairly straight distal margin; median fascia with a sharply demarcated, fairly straight proximal margin, usually divided into a smaller costal and a larger dorsal component by an incursion of ground colour, the costal component has a well demarcated distal margin, the dorsal component is expanded diffusely distally; a well-demarcated semicircular preapical costal blotch.
