ID: Group C - forewing markings appear white on a coloured background; C1D1 not forming a complete transverse fascia; thorax with a white median line; 4C3D; apex of C1 proximal to apex of D1; strigulae with black edging; acute angle between C1 and D1; forewing ground colour orange (not brown); apical streak short (just past C4); basal streak extending to half length of D1 (reaches proximal margin of D1 in P.maestingella). MBGBI2 also states that the caudal tuft is "whitish" in P.esperella and "brownish-fuscous above, white below" in P.maestingella.
