ws: 17-24mm; May-Jun (UK moths), Jun-Jul (BTM); oak (Quercus spp) and other deciduous trees; common in oak woodland throughout GB
ID: The only green British tortrix. May be confused with Earias clorana (Cream-bordered Green Pea) (Nolidae) which has a more tented (less horizontal) resting posture and a broad cream costal border continuous with a cream anterior border to the thorax.
