fw: 15-18mm; Jul-Aug; sea campion (Silene maritima), thrift (Armeria maritima), common rock-rose (Helianthemum nummularium); predominantly on SW and W coasts from Isle of Wight to Anglesey, moorland of N.Wales, locally reported from many other parts of GB
ID: Similar to Gnophos obfuscatus (Scotch Annulet) which averages larger (fw: 17-21mm). G.obfuscatus can be distinguished by its slightly concave costa.
