ws: 11-13mm; Jul-Aug; perforate/hairy St John's wort (Hypericum perforatum/hirsutum); common in England and Wales
Synonym: Eulamprotes atrella (MBGBI4.2, RES Checklist)
Synonym: Eulamprotes atrella (MBGBI4.2, RES Checklist)
ID: Forewing dark fuscous with pale costal and tornal spots; 3 small pale flecks at the base of the cilia between the costal spot and the apex; labial palps ochreous, contrasting with fuscous antenna. Very similar to E.immaculatella and Aproaerema anthyllidella. See Oxypteryx for more information.
