Orgyia antiqua (Vapourer) §2 male
ID: male has orange-brown forewings with indistinct dark cross-lines and a conspicuous white tornal spot.
O.recens (Scarce Vapourer) is similar but with a chocolate-brown forewing and additional orange and white markings at the apex.
