ID: Pale patch distal to small central spot; two black dashes on veins between central spot and apex; cross-lines vary in intensity, when present a blackish line touches and is sharply angled at the central spot; ground colour varies between whitish (especially in Scotland), dark-brown and grey; melanics occur.
