72.047 Eilema caniola (Hoary Footman)
fw: 15-17mm; Jul-Sep; lichens and algae; NS-B; until recently confined to rocky coasts and shingle beaches in SW.England and Wales, with occasional suspected migrant to south coast elsewhere in England. Now spreading through SE England.
ID: Forewing narrow, silky and very pale grey with a pale yellow costal stripe; hindwing white. Form lacteola has a white forewing.
