70.013 Idaea biselata (Small Fan-footed Wave)
fw: 10-11mm; Jun-Aug, occasionally a 2nd generation in Oct; unknown; common in woodland throughout GB
ID: Characterised by strong central black spot on each wing; forewing spot proximal to 2nd line, which curves around the spot (spot usually distal to 2nd line in I.fuscovenosa (Dwarf Cream Wave); broad dark band distal to 3rd line which can be very strong (form fimbriolata) (this band absent in I.fuscovenosa); terminal end of each wing vein marked with a small dark dot (fine dashes in I.fuscovenosa).
