70.002 Idaea muricata (Purple-bordered Gold)
fw: 8-10mm (Waring & Townsend), ws: 18-20mm (UKMoths); Jun-Jul; marsh cinquefoil (Potentilla palustris); NS-B in damp heath, fen, bog in England & Wales
ID: Pinkish-purple with gold termen and fringes on all four wings. Form auroraria has large yellow-gold patches basal to a deep purple subterminal line. Form totaruba has very small gold patches and a less obvious purplish subterminal line. (Gold-bordered Purple would have been a more appropriate English name!)
