49.091 Pseudargyrotoza conwagana (Yellow-spotted Tortrix)
ws: 11-15mm; May-Jul, but since I have taken fresh specimens in August I presume there is sometimes a 2nd generation in late summer; ash (Fraxinus excelsior), privet (Ligustrum vulgare); common throughout GB.

ID: Distinguished by yellowish ground colour, metallic irroration and yellow dorsal spot. There is a variable black or ferruginous suffusion which is more marked in the male.
