70.006 Idaea fuscovenosa (Dwarf Cream Wave)
fw: 9-11mm; Jun-Jul; unknown; local in SC&E England north to Humber
ID: Characterised by a central black spot on each wing; base of costa brownish; fine line of dashes along termenal wing margins; costal end of cross-lines often more heavily marked. I.sylvestraria (Dotted Border Wave) lacks the marginal dashes and has stronger dots at the terminal end of the veins. I.dilutaria (Silky Wave) lacks or has very inconspicuous central black dots. I.biselata (Small Fan-footed Wave) lacks marginal dashes and has the central forewing spot proximal to the 2nd line which curves around it (distal to 2nd line in I.fuscovenosa).
