49.199 Eucosmomorpha albersana (Honeysuckle Beauty)
ws: 13-15mm (MBGBI5.2), fw: 6-7mm (Sterling & Parsons); May-Jun; honeysuckle (Lonicera spp); NS-B open woodland in S.England
ID: A silvery metallic stria running from the tornus to the costa at ~2/3 demarcates a distal area (~1/3) of orange yellow from a proximal area (~2/3) which is largely orange-brown. The proximal area becomes more orange-yellow at the base and shows a hint of a paler median fascia which is strigulate at the costa. The distal area shows 4 pale yellow costal strigulae which become metallic silvery a short distance from the costa and a weak ocellus of 2 or 3 black streaks.
