40.010 Mompha epilobiella (Buff Mompha)
ws: 10-13mm; Bivoltine, all year, most abundant in Jul & Aug; great willowherb (Epilobium hirsutum); common in S.England & Wales, more local further north
ID: Somewhat similar to M.ochraceella especially when worn. Distinguishable by generally smaller size (vs14-16mm), dark legs banded at joints (vs pale yellow-ochreous) and dark grey hindwing (vs pale yellowish)
