ID: Sooty black with a bold white first (antemedian) line, which becomes diffuse in its costal 1/4, and an indistinct wavy postmedian line. Ortholepis betulae and Apomyelois bistriatella are similarly marked but the antemedian line is much less distinct in both these species.
