ID: Pale fascia and no additional pale spots; head pale ochreous, collar pale yellow; fascia transverse (not oblique) and fairly broad; antenna pale (darker towards apex) > S.carpinella. Note also patch of dark brown scales at base of hindwing upperside
Male genitalia: gnathos with a long horizontal bar and widely separated horns; aedaegus with a basal sclerotised plate, a cluster of (30-35) larger broad cornuti and many smaller spines.
