Generic features: Labial palp slender, S2 rough-scaled ventrally; Antenna without pecten; Forewing lanceolate with tufts of erect scales;
Hindwing narrower than forewing, trapezoidal, termen emarginte, apex acutely produced
Male genitalia: costa spinose, separate from digitate sacculus; aedagus strongly curved
Female genitalia: signa two strong thorns; ostium with pronounced posteriorly-directed flap.
ID: Forewing ground colour white, variably suffused fuscous with the following blackish markings - a nearly complete, oblique median fascia; a spot on costa between fascia and base; a spot at tornus
