ws: ~35mm (UKMoths) 36-40mm (Hants Moths); scarce migrant, first reported in Britain 2003, ~300 records (to 2018) with 90 in 2010.
ID: Pink ground colour with darker shading around stigmata, along proximal border of subterminal line and accentuating the forewing veins; whitish stigmata; scalloped antemedian line, diffuse oblique median line from kidney mark to dorsum, slightly scalloped postmedian line; subterminal fascia a shade paler than the ground colour; frons whitish.
