70.009 Idaea subsericeata (Satin Wave)
fw: 10-12mm; Jun-Jul, partial 2nd generation in south Aug-Sep; unknown; common in SC & SE England, less common elsewhere in England, Wales and SW Scotland. Note that in my (limited) experience so far the 2nd generation is smaller fw 9.5-10mm.
ID: Characterised by fairly distinct cross-lines and indistinct or absent central black spots. I.sylvestraria (Dotted Border Wave) has much more distinct termenal neural dots. I.dilutaria (Silky Wave) has a more creamy ground colour and is smaller (8-10mm).
