40.015 Mompha raschkiella (Fireweed Mompha)
ws: 7-11mm; May-Oct; rosebay willowherb (Chamerion angustifolium); common throughout GB
ID: 3 species of Mompha have a white costal spot on the forewing costa at ¾ and some bright orange forewing colour. In M.locupletella and M.terminella the orange areas form the dominant colour of the central part of the forewing; in M.raschkiella the orange colour is more dispersed and patchy.
