ws: 26-31mm (Goater) 17-29mm (UKMoths); Jun-Jul; common bird's-foot trefoil (Lotus corniculatus), white clover (Trifoium repens); NS-B (Hants moths) or locally common (Goater) on chalk downland and limestone cliffs in S.England from Norfolk to Somerset.

ID: Unmistakeable. The presence of a pale costal stripe is variable.
