ws: 7-9mm; bivoltine May-Jun, Jul-Aug; glaucous sedge (Carex flacca); local on open grassland and heathland in England and Wales
ID: Group C: Forewing with markings both paler and darker than the ground colour. I have not yet devised genital keys for group C - however:
Male genitalia: The only Elachistid with widely spaced, narrow, uncus lobes; aedeagus with a single long cornutus at the apex.
