ID: Ground colour ranges from pale ochreous to reddish-brown; stigmata broad, outlined reddish, the oval circular, the kidney mark blackish in its dorsal half; a slightly wavy, pale ochreous subterminal line, bordered proximally with a reddish line usually divided into blocks by the forewing veins; grey-brown cross-lines and fasciae of varying expression and intensity include: basal, antemedian and postmedian lines, a more diffuse broader median line angled at the kidney mark, a diffuse postmedian fascia. A.macilenta (Yellow-line Quaker) has a fairly straight subterminal line with a reddish proximal border that usually not divided into blocks by the veins.
